Wycombe striker John Sutton is excited by the new regime at Adams Park following the arrival of Peter Taylor.

The former England boss was appointed as the Chairboys' new manager after the departure of Paul Lambert at the end of last season.

Former St Mirren man Sutton was part of the side that were beaten by Stockport in the play-off semi-final but believes the future is bright under Taylor.

He told the club's official website: "We were all disappointed with the Stockport game but it gives you that motivation for this year and it's a fresh start for me so hopefully we'll have a good season.

"The new manager has come in and told us how he wants to play and it sounds good.

"He's brought in some young players as well which has given us all a bit more energy so it'll be exciting."
