Wrexham manager Brian Little believes the five players placed on the transfer list still could make an impact in the first-team next season.

Anthony Williams, Richard Hope, Silvio Spann, Sam Aiston and Michael Proctor - who are all still contracted to the club for another season - were all made available for transfer after the club's relegation to the Blue Square Premier League.

Little has underlined that he would like the transfer-listed players to move on so he has more space to rebuild his squad but also revealed they could play a part next season too.

He told the Wrexham Evening Leader: "All we can do is wait and see what happens.

"If they don't leave we will treat them properly here - and you never know, a surprise might come out of the pack.

"Someone who does stay might perform better than in the past but my thoughts are still the same - they are available to move on."
