Martin Foyle has signed a new two-year deal to stay on as first-team coach at Wrexham.

The former Port Vale boss joined the Dragons in January and will now remain as a key part of boss Brian Little's coaching staff as the club bids to make an immediate return to the Football League.

"My contract ran out the last game of the season and the gaffer was superb with me," Foyle told the Chester Leader.

"He said that nothing was guaranteed so to go and look for other jobs. I understand the uncertainty because going down is a massive step. But you have to look at the bigger picture.

"I was offered a contract and was delighted to accept. This is a job that needs to be completed and as a coach I can't wait to get into it."
