Striker Drewe Broughton - who spent the last three months of the season on loan at Wrexham - has been released by parent club MK Dons.

The 29-year-old marksman, who scored two goals in 16 appearances for the Dragons has been deemed surplus to requirements at the National Hockey Stadium after Paul Ince's side won promotion to League One.

Meanwhile, fellow loanee Paul Mitchell has completed a return to full fitness after a lengthy 15-month spell on the sidelines and will hope for first-team opportunities next season.
