Swansea boss Roberto Martinez believes that searching for talent abroad will aid his side's Championship campaign next season.
After the successful signings of midfielder Ferrie Bodde and defender Angel Rangel from the continent last summer Martinez will look abroad again to bolster his squad.
The Swans manager told the Swansea Evening Post: "We will definitely go into the Continental market, if we want to be successful in the Championship, we have to do it.
"As the boys we brought over last year have showed, there are great professionals available in Europe who are prepared to give everything for Swansea City. They have a fantastic attitude and bring something different to our squad."
Martinez added the club are hoping to bring a number of players to the Liberty Stadium: "We have probably got four or five players in mind for each position. We are well advanced with a number of them, but it's important to know about players' personalities as well as their abilities."
