Stockport striker Liam Dickinson has joined Coca-Cola Championship side Derby in a deal that could eventually rise to £1million.

The Rams had a £250,00 bid for the 6ft 4in forward turned down last month, but raised their offer for the highly-rated 22-year-old, who has signed a four-year contract.

Dickinson scored 21 goals last season including one in the play-off final victory against Rochdale.

Meanwhile, Darlington have signed David Poole and Adam Griffin, who were released by the Hatters at the end of last season.
