Stockport striker Liam Dickinson insists his success last season can be attributed to hard work.

The highly-rated forward scored 21 goals to help County to win promotion after beating Rochdale 3-2 in the League Two play-off final.

It was a stunning return after he netted only seven times during the previous campaign.

"I think it's just that I've taken my chances," said Dickinson.

"I worked extra hard, the team worked extra hard, and it's not just down to individuals because there's collective work there too."
