"The funny thing is I think it's a tough fight for Hatton, a much tougher fight than anybody expects because he's earned a lot of money and was knocked out by Mayweather," said McGuigan.
"He's a great guy, Hatton, such a great kid to watch and a very exciting fighter who puts bums on seats - my kind of fighter. But I can just see a little bit of wear and tear there and a little bit of psychological doubt. He finds it more difficult to make weights and I think it's beginning to catch up with him.
"He's just turned 30, has parted company with his trainer and has a new guy who is more defensive minded and fallen out with a few of his team in Manchester. It could be a lot more difficult than a lot of people think and I think it will be a very even fight. Paulie Malignaggi has his big chance to shine in Vegas and he will fancy his chances. Hatton can win it, but it won't be easy."
