Wakefield Wildcats insist their finances are in order after successfully avoiding a winding-up order in the High Court.

The court heard that the club have reduced their debt from £353,000 to £194,000 - and they have been given 84 days to pay off the remainder to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.

The club's executive director Diane Maskill said: "Wakefield Trinity Wildcats will meet all their liabilities under the payment plan and expect that the debt will be paid off in full within the agreed time span."
