According to former England full-back Josh Lewsey, England can beat Wales on Saturday if they play smart possession rugby in the right areas and drop their penalty count.

"You don't have to force the game when you have the ball you just have to retain it in the right areas of the field and come away with the three points or seven points. It's the same without the ball," said Lewsey. "When a team's not threatening to score, you don't have to give them the easy out which is to give away a penalty which will give them territory or keep the scoreboard ticking."
Lewsey, who still hopes to tour South Africa with the British and Irish Lions, added that big-game players such as Vickery and Tindall can help restore some pride to the English jersey.
"I think England will have taken last weekend quite hard on the chin and they will come out and try and put some pride back into the jersey this weekend. If they can put Wales under pressure and retain the ball through enough phases with powerful runners like Vickery, Sheridan and Tindall then we will give ourselves a chance."
