Italy kick off their RBS 6 Nations campaign with a tough opener against England at Twickenham but prop Martin Castrogiovanni says he will take to the field to win the match.

"We may need to improve but we are here to play and win. I always go onto the field to win," Castrogiovanni told Virgin Media. "Maybe we can't win the 6 Nations tournament but hopefully we won't finish last!"

Castrogiovanni added that the Italian side need to be more consistent in their mindset if they want to win matches regularly and singled out captain Sergio Parisse as their key man.
