John Breckin has described the facilities as "second to none" following the Millers' training ground switch to the Keepmoat Stadium.
Rotherham, already scheduled to play their home League Two fixtures at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium next season, will now train at local neighbours Doncaster Rovers' ground.
The Millers have severed ties with Millmoor - their home for the last 101 years - and hope to move to a new purpose-built community stadium that they will share with the town's rugby union club within the next five years.
Breckin said: "It's not ideal moving out of Rotherham and it's sad to leave our training ground at Hooton Lodge, but the facilities are second to none at the Keepmoat and the lads will really look forward to training there.
"We've trained at the Keepmoat Stadium on several occasions and they know what to expect."
Breckin added: "The staff at Doncaster have been great and have really looked after us in every way."
