Rotherham have revealed they will be using the Don Valley Stadium to play their home games next season.
The club approached Sheffield International Venues, who manage the 25,000-seater stadium, after talks to stay at their current ground Millmoor broke down.
Steve Brailey, chief executive of Sheffield International Venues, said: "Rotherham United approached us about using Don Valley Stadium as their base for matches. We are happy to provide our facility for their use for as long as it is needed."
It had been rumoured that prospective chairman Tony Stewart had agreed a four-year lease at the 101-year-old stadium with the land-owning Booth family but it now appears these talks proved inconclusive.
