Rotherham goalkeeper Andy Warrington is fully aware how much a move back to the town would mean to everyone at the League Two club.
The Millers have been forced to play at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium since the summer of 2008 after financial difficulties forced them to leave Millmoor.
Chairman Tony Stewart is poised to announce plans to take the Millers back to Rotherham, though, and Warrington, who has made over 100 appearances for the club, is looking forward to any potential move.
"Everyone was disappointed to have to leave Millmoor the way we did, but we only had one option," he told Press Association Sport.
"Thankfully the fans have bought into backing us at Don Valley, probably because they know it is not a long-term option.
"The chairman took us there but with the intention of coming back and that's the big thing. I believe they are hoping to announce something soon and it will be a big boost for us all."
