Rochdale begin their 2008/09 League Two campaign with a trip to Grimsby as they seek to bounce back from last season's play-off final defeat.

Keith Hill's men lost 3-2 against north-west rivals Stockport at Wembley last month but will be expected to challenge for promotion again.

Dale's first home game of the season is against Barnet on August 16 before they make the short trip to Bradford the following week.

They end the month with a home game against neighbours Bury on August 30 and host Gillingham on May 2 for the final game of their campaign.
