QPR boss Jim Magilton admitted missed chances cost his side victory after the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Rangers took the lead through an Akos Buzsaky penalty, but Wayne Routledge and Jay Simpson blew opportunities to extend the lead before half-time.
And after Darren Ambrose levelled from the spot, Palace keeper Julian Speroni pulled off superb saves from Buzsaky, Alejandro Faurlin and Rowan Vine to secure a point for the visitors.
"We were at home so it is two points dropped," said Magilton.
"You look at the amount of chances we created, and we've had a string of games when we converted those chances, so we could have been out of sight by half-time.
"Sometimes you rue missed chances and that was one of those games. And then the keeper has kept them in it."
