Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott is running the rule over trialist Chris Tadrosse.

The 22-year-old left-sided Australian was on the books of Borussia Monchengladbach and may take part in the Valiants game against Newcastle Town this weekend.

Sinnott told the club's official website: "We were advised to have a look at the player, who was playing in Germany last year - it came from a contact up at Leeds United.

"We did a bit of digging, had a look at the DVDs and this is the next step really. He is a left-sided player, and its just a matter of us having a look at him and him having a look at us.

"He has had a couple of offers back in Germany - he played for Borussia Monchengladbach reserves - and it's a question of getting him here and having a look at him.

"He has been doing some training, but not football training with any particular club, so it's just a matter of having a look at him."
