Peterborough have signed Histon midfielder Josh Simpson on loan until the end of the year.

The 22-year-old had been on trial at London Road over the last few weeks and scored the third goal in a 3-0 reserve win over Luton on Wednesday.

He becomes manager Darren Ferguson's third signing in the last fortnight and he could make his debut at Newcastle this weekend.
