Oldham manager John Sheridan is hoping to bring "two more faces" to the club before the start of the new season.

Sheridan has so far brought in goalkeeper Greg Fleming, strikers David Williams and Chris O'Grady and midfielders Dale Stephens, Danny Whitaker and Kieran Lee.

But the Latics boss acknowledged more new arrivals are set to follow and told the club's official website: "I want a left-sided player and a ball-playing central midfielder.

"We've got a few new faces in already but I feel we need to add two more to give us that balance.

"I don't know whether the left-footer will be a full-back or a winger yet but although I've got people who can play there, we need another body on that side."
