Oldham managing director Simon Corney insists the club remain determined to make more signings before the start of the new season.

The Latics have already signed former Gretna goalkeeper Greg Fleming and teenage Manchester United utility man Kieran Lee on free transfers.

Striker Chris O'Grady has also joined from Rotherham and Bury midfielder Dale Stephens will move to Boundary Park on July 1 after rejecting the offer of a new deal at Gigg Lane.

Corney said: "We have been one of the busiest clubs in the transfer market so far and have attempted to build for the future by bringing in players who have a significant upside.

"We are continuing to track a number of targets and rest assured we are leaving no stone unturned to give ourselves the best possible chance of promotion next term.

"Our list of possibles is wide-ranging and may involve further permanent transfers or loan deals."
