Notts County manager Ian McParland is still on the look-out for new players as preparations continue for the new season.

The Magpies boss has already made six signings so far this summer and has made no secret of the fact he wants another striker.

McParland told the club's official website: "The search for new players goes on, certainly. We know we have a budget to stick to, and we have to cut our cloth accordingly.

"I have a few more players I want to sign, but it is all about the budget and you can't just keep bringing them in.

"We want to build the club, and the squad, gradually and we're doing okay - and the board are helping us by doing everything they can."
