Notts County chairman Geoff Davey has revealed he is to step down from his position at the end of the month.
Davey will remain involved at Meadow Lane, acting as consultant to the board of directors for the next 12 months.
"I think the time has come for me to settle for a less busy and stressful existence," Davey told the club's official website.
"Over the years I have had tremendous support from the directors and staff - past and present - and I would like to express my gratitude and wish them and the club every success in the future.
"I love the city and the people of Nottingham and have been well and truly sucked into the history and traditions of Meadow Lane. This club means a lot to me and I hope to be attending Notts' matches both home and way for a very long time."
Davey has enjoyed two spells with County since 1996, as managing director and as chief executive.
