Notts County have announced that they will welcome Premier League new-boys Stoke to Meadow Lane as part of their pre-season schedule.

The Potters, who won promotion to the top-flight earlier this month, will take on Ian McParland's side on July 29.

Assistant manager Dave Kevan told the club's official website: "We're delighted to be able to announce that Stoke City will be coming to Meadow Lane for a pre-season friendly in July.

"It will be a good test for us in the final stages of our pre-season."
