Notts County goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington has agreed terms on a new two-year contract with the club.

The 34-year-old custodian's current deal runs out at the end of June but he will put pen to paper on a contract when he returns from holiday at the end of May.

Magpies boss Ian McParland told the club's official website: "I'm delighted Kevin has agreed terms.

"He had a tremendous season for us between the posts, picking up the Supporters Club Player of the Season award and the Player's Player of the Season award.

"He is a fantastic professional and we are delighted he has agreed to sign a new deal with us.

"While Kevin is away we will get the contract drawn up, and then once he returns he will come in, have a look through it and make sure everything is in order and then sign."
