Northampton manager Stuart Gray was pleased with his side's progress on their tour of Germany.

The Cobblers are back in Britain after a week in Germany and Gray is confident that his side are ready for the challenge of taking on QPR at Sixfields next week.

He said: "Overall the tour was good for us.

"We had five full days out there, played three games and trained hard on the other days so there was no time when the lads were left to drift without a purpose.

"It was good for our fitness but now we are glad to be home and are looking forward to giving our home fans the first chance to see us in action at Sixfields on Wednesday night."
