Northampton manager Stuart Gray has not ruled out adding more new faces to his squad ahead of the new season.

Gray has already brought in Liam Davis, Abdul Osman and Leon Constantine since the end of the last campaign but remains on the hunt for reinforcements, with central midfield an area which may need strengthening.

"I want to create a little bit more competition for places," he said.

"If I had the opportunity then maybe an experienced central midfielder, but Osman and Alex Dyer have the opportunity to grasp that position.

"But it's a young team at the moment and I might have to bring some experience and a voice in."
