Northampton boss Stuart Gray has admitted he is happy with the club's progress in the transfer market over the summer.
The Cobblers finished last season in ninth place in League One after a start which saw them lose four out of their opening seven games.
Gray has already added Adebayo Akinfenwa, Liam Davis and Abdul Osman to his squad and the boss insists there will be more new faces added over the coming weeks.
He told the club website: "We are happy with the way things are going.
"It was a fantastic boost for us getting Bayo signed up and although the squad is starting to take shape it still needs adding to.
"I am still looking in to bringing in one or two experienced players and the nearer we get to the start of the new season suddenly the power of strength shifts from their players and their agents to the club."
