Northampton chairman David Cordoza has revealed the club are in talks with defender Jason Crowe over a new contract.
The 29-year-old has reportedly attracted interest from Championship clubs after an impressive season for the Cobblers but Cardoza insists he is keen to keep the former Arsenal trainee at Sixfields.
Cordoza said: "We have not had anything new on him but again I wouldn't be surprised as he is a quality player.
"He had the opportunity to go to Plymouth in January but we didn't want him to go and he decided he didn't want to go.
"If something comes up we will discuss it but we have started talks with him about extending his contract here."
