World Touring Car Championship contenders Gabriele Tarquini and Yvan Muller are set to race in Sunday's final round on Macau after being released from hospital.
The SEAT drivers were involved in crashes during the second qualifying session on Friday and face a medical check-up by the FIA doctor before being cleared to take part in Sunday's two races.
The pair's misfortune played into the hands of title rival Augusto Farfus whose BMW will line up third on the grid for Sunday's first race.
In an earlier crash LADA driver James Thompson was injured but he was also cleared following scans at the hospital. Thompson faces a check-up before being allowed to race.
The Macau races will be the final ones of the WTCC career of Italian driver Nicola Larini after he announced his decision to retire.
The 45-year-old, who raced for a decade in Formula One, has finished 85 out of 105 races since joining Chevrolet and recorded one win in Marrakech this year.
"After so many years in motorsports, time has come for me to take a different approach to racing, to give back to my family and to develop my other interests," said Larini.
"Chevrolet and RML have been my WTCC home for the last five years. It has been a fantastic time that I will cherish forever in my memory."
