BMW dominated the penultimate round of the World Touring Car Championship in Japan as Gabriele Tarquini saw his lead cut to just two points in Okayama, Japan.
The Italian had held a nine-point lead over SEAT team-mate and defending champion Yvan Muller heading into the weekend, but he could only manage to finish fifth and seventh in Sunday's two races on a rain-sodden circuit.
Guernsey's Andy Priaulx tasted victory in race one while his BMW team-mate, Brazilian Augusto Farfus, won race two to keep his slim chances of taking the title alive ahead of the final round in Macau on November 22.
