British Superbike leader Leon Camier has insisted that he is prepared for "business as usual" as he looks to clinch the 2009 title at Silverstone on Sunday.
Camier, 23, has dominated the series this season, winning an incredible 16 of 21 races to date, and is seemingly certain to claim his first title this weekend. The Airwaves Yamaha rider is 99.5 points ahead of team-mate James Ellison and will win the title if he scores half a point more than Ellison in the first race on Sunday.
"I'm really looking forward to Silverstone. In terms of the races, it's just business as usual. I know what I need to do," he said.
"I'll prepare as normal, keep myself busy and not really think about the Championship a whole lot. It won`t be easy but a good couple of results should hopefully go some way to thank everyone who has helped me this season."
Ellison has won three races himself this season but admitted that he is more concerned with the fight for second than chasing Camier.
HM Plant Honda rider Stuart Easton won at Croft last time out to move to within 32 points of Ellison and the Yamaha rider knows that he is in a fight.
Ellison said: "I think we're going to see some close racing this weekend, so it'll be important for us to be at the top of the timesheets from first practice onwards.
"I've had a nightmare in qualifying recently, doing my fastest time in the second session rather than the third and it'll be vital to get qualifying right at Silverstone.
"I'll be pushing Leon as much as I can, but I can't forget to keep an eye out for Stuart Easton who'll be looking to snatch away second in the standings."
