David Coulthard believes he may have called time on his career too soon.

The Scot quit following the 2008 season fearing he would not be physically able to cope with another season, but the new limit on testing and Red Bull's form has made him question the move.

Coulthard admitted to the Daily Record: "The way the regulations changed, I almost certainly would have had the energy to handle a season."
