League Two outfit Morecambe have announced a new kit deal with sportswear giants Puma.

After several seasons with Umbro, the Shrimps have signed a new four-year contract with Puma.

Morecambe vice-chairman Graham Hodgson said: "We spoke to several high-profile companies but were very impressed with Puma on several fronts.

"They are a world-renowned brand who offered excellent quality, but we were also impressed by their commitment to football.

"They sponsor sportswear for the Football League's Football in the Community schemes up and down the country and it is clear they have a real passion for football.

"We are excited by the partnership which we are sure will be beneficial for both parties, and we are sure our fans will love the new strip."
