Defender Keith Keane will come back into contention for Luton as they travel to Gillingham.
Keane has overcome the ankle injury that plagued his pre-season preparations but he will have to make do with a place on boss Mick Harford's substitutes bench after an impressive midweek performance by on-loan Norwich midfielder Michael Spillane.
Spillane provided makeshift cover at centre-back as Harford was forced to utilise his threadbare squad in the shock 2-0 victory over Plymouth at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday.
Fellow new-boy Lewis Emanuel is likely to retain his place while goal-scorer Rossi Jarvis should also continue in the Hatters midfield alongside captain Kevin Nicholls.
