Luton manager Mick Harford has warned his players not to get carried away after pulling off a Carling Cup first-round shock win against Plymouth.

The Hatters, bottom of Coca-Cola League Two after being deducted 30 points, downed their opponents from the Championship thanks to goals from Rossi Jarvis and Tristan Plummer.

Although he was clearly happy with the victory, Harford told his side to focus on the task of pulling back their huge deficit in the league.

He said: "I am delighted with the win and the performance and the way we played, but it's only one win and we won't get carried away.

"We've tried to put together a committed, honest and hardworking team allied with the talent that was on show.

"We've got a genuine bunch here and we're all growing together but this is only one win and we're now concentrating on Gillingham on Saturday which is already a massive game for us."
