Lincoln have confirmed that on-loan defender Eric Lichaj will serve a three-match suspension following his red card against Morecambe.

The Aston Villa left-back was shown a straight red card after 82 minutes of the Imps` 3-1 defeat on Saturday following an off-the-ball tussle with an opposing player.

It was only Lichaj`s second appearance of his one-month spell with the League Two club and means the American will be unable to feature for Chris Sutton`s side again during his initial stay at Sincil Bank.

The 20-year-old will miss Saturday`s FA Cup first-round trip to Telford and the home league games against Cheltenham and Grimsby.
