Leyton Orient have completed the signing of Tottenham striker Simon Dawkins on a six-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old is yet to make his first-team debut for the Premier League outfit but has impressed Os boss Martin Ling on a number of occasions for Spurs' second-string.

"Simon comes in on a window-to-window loan and I'm delighted to have him here," Ling told the club's official website.

"He's a young player that I've seen a lot of for Tottenham's reserves and the ongoing relationship we have with them has allowed us to take Simon on loan.

"Simon is held in high esteem at Tottenham and he will prove to be a good replacement for Efe Echanomi.

"This signing takes us up to 21 players and the jigsaw is almost complete - all we're left with now is the wide left player."
