Andrew Cave-Brown has signed a one-year contract with Leyton Orient to become Martin Ling's fourth summer addition.
The 19-year-old spent the last two years at Norwich, making two senior appearances, but was a victim of manager Glenn Roeder's close season clear out.
The right-back has represented Scotland at Under-20 level, and Ling believes his pedigree will benefit the squad.
Ling told the club's official website: "We've watched and played against him in the last two years and I'm pleased to have signed him as we didn't have any natural cover for Stephen Purches at right-back last season.
"He replaces Sam Oji in the squad and balances out the defence as Danny Granville can also play at centre-back and he will be an excellent addition to the squad."
