Leyton Orient have completed the signing of former Norwich striker Ryan Jarvis on a free transfer.

The 21-year-old impressed during his previous spell at Brisbane Road in the 2006/07 campaign - netting six goals in a 14-game loan spell - and has now agreed a two-year deal with the League One side.

Jarvis, who can also operate on the right of midfield, also enjoyed loan spells with SPL outfit Kilmarnock and League Two side Notts County before he was deemed surplus to requirements at Carrow Road.

O's boss Martin Ling told the club's official website: "I'm very pleased to have Ryan back at the football club. He had a massive impact when he was here two seasons ago and his goals went a long way to keeping us up.

"He was always high on my list of priorities this summer and it's great to have him back."
