Leyton Orient defender Tamika Mkandawire has hailed new signing Danny Granville.
The 25-year-old centre-back has admitted he is keen to learn from the veteran left-back, who has had spells with Manchester City and Chelsea - where he won a European Cup Winners' Cup medal in 1998.
The O's defence let in 63 goals during the last campaign and Mkandawire is sure the 33-year-old can step up to the task of helping sure-up their leaky defence.
Mkandawire told the East London Guardian: "I think you can learn a lot from any older player - his experience will benefit us.
"He's been at some very high profile clubs, so obviously I look forward to learning from him."
