Leyton Orient defender Tamika Mkandawire is looking forward to the new season with particular relish after the club were drawn against his former side Hereford on the opening day.
Mkandawire played 112 times for the Bulls and is eager to take them on at Brisbane Road on August 9.
"I'm really looking forward to the opening game, and especially now it's against Hereford," he told the Hackney Gazette.
"I knew we would play them first up and there are a few lads still there from the time I was there so it will be great.
After injury disrupted his last campaign, the 25-year-old is determined to make this season count.
"It is going to be a big season for myself and the team, because I really believe we can push on," he said.
