Hull striker Dean Windass insists he is not daunted by the thought of going into next season as the oldest player in the Premier League.
The 39-year-old turned back the clock last term to notch 15 goals - including the winner in the play-off final - and has already begun his preparations for a season which will se him enter his 40th year.
"Without a doubt I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things," he told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I've started training again. I've been jogging to keep up my fitness, but the bosses have said not to do too much until all the boys come back on June 30.
"When people say to me I'm the oldest player in the Premier League it does make me feel old, but it doesn't make any difference as long as you're mentally strong and physically fit.
"I'll be fresh as a daisy by the start of the season."
