Caleb Folan believes Hull can become an established Barclays Premier League side if Phil Brown's men emerge victorious from the Coca-Cola Championship play-off final against Bristol City.

Folan was among the scorers on Wednesday night as the Tigers crushed Watford 4-1 in the semi-final second leg at the KC Stadium for a 6-1 aggregate success.

A maiden Wembley appearance now beckons for Hull, with the prize on offer the first top-flight promotion in their history and a massive financial windfall.

Folan enjoyed a brief spell in the Premier League with Wigan before his £1million move to Humberside in August and is confident Brown's side can challenge at a higher level.

"It's a new challenge for a lot of us and it's hard to say what can happen when we get there," said the 25-year-old striker.

"Myself, I believe we can hold our own as we are in the Premier League. The manager would want to build up the squad, but I believe we can hold our own definitely and it'd be a new challenge for us all."
