South Korean Song-Hee Kim will take a two-shot lead into the final round of the P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship after producing a 3-under-par 68 today.
Kim, a nine-under overall, leads American Angela Stanford who shot a 69 while Na Yeon Choi is tied for third with Sun Young Yoo and Yani Tseng after an impressive 65, the lowest round of the day.
Kim's wayward driving was not as costly as it could have been as she seeks her maiden LPGA Tour victory.
First-round leader Sandra Gal had led at seven-under after yesterday's first round but a second-round 76 left her two-under in a tie back in 24th.
Kim said: "I was really calm today, and I tried talking with my caddie. And it was really good. I felt good, and my caddie helped me play too well, so it was good.
"Actually when I was in warm-up this morning, I was feeling pretty bad, really tired. I didn't feel good.
"My caddie tried telling me to think positively. This is the fourth tournament in a row for me so I'm tired."
Michelle Wie's 70 after yesterday's 69 left her three-under tied in 15th. England's Karen Stupples hit a poor 72 and but was still three-under after yesterday's 67.
