Southampton boss Alan Pardew was downbeat after a lacklustre display from his side in the 1-0 defeat at Swindon.

Saints are still looking for their first win in League One after teenage defender Sean Morrison grabbed the only goal of the game with a ninth-minute header.

Pardew said: "We didn't start well and then we lost another goal to a set play which is very disappointing, that's five goals we've conceded this season and they've all come from set plays. So we obviously still have a lot of work to do there."

He added: "After the goal I thought we got back into the game and started showing our energy and looked a bit more confident. And second half I thought their keeper made a number of excellent saves.

"It was obviously a disappointing performance, though, but we will look to move forward from this.
