MK Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo insisted he always believed in his troops despite seeing them fall behind early on against Carlisle .
Danny Graham had opened the scoring for the Cumbrians, but the Dons hit back to level through Peter Leven before going on to claim a 3-1 win with Miguel Angel Llera and Leven's second sealing the win.
"It was a great afternoon," he said. "We started off basically 1-0 down and the players showed a great reaction to that."
He added: "I still felt confident after we conceded because I saw the reaction of the players.
"What was good about it was they believed in their strengths and in their game plan and what we do on a daily basis.
"It is also important the crowd doesn't get on your back and for the players to keep calm.
"Sometimes we have to be patient because teams come here playing 4-5-1 and put bodies behind the ball and you can't just expect us to score a goal or two straight away.
"We've got many players who can score goals which is good and it was a good advertisement for MK Dons."
