It's a Super Sunday of football action - Chelsea face Manchester United in this season's first reprise of the Champions League final, there's a West Midlands derby, and several other top matches as the 2008-9 season starts to take shape after the first big midweek European jamboree.

Virgin Media Sport likes a sporting punt now and then, and here are our tips for some big winnings this weekend - you can add YOUR views at the foot of the page.

SUNDAY 21st SEPTEMBER

DecoChelsea v Man United:  The Blues have started under Luiz Felipe Scolari with a bang, dropping just two points so far, whereas United have started indifferently with just one win from five in all competitions. With Ronaldo, Tevez, Berbatov and Rooney all set to be available it's hard to see how United will remain so toothless in front of goal for long, though breaching the Stamford Bridge fortress may be too much to ask for a Man Utd side still finding its feet together. Chelsea look like a ready-made team, Deco (left) having slotted in effortlessly to a team managed by a man he knows well, and should sneak a narrow win.

BET ON: Chelsea v Man United

Hull v Everton:  Craig Fagan's horrific injury at St James' Park should not overshadow the fact that Hull outplayed and beat Newcastle, and are perfectly capable of getting a first home Premier League win this weekend. Everton have a 100 percent away record but have lost both home matches - they have scoring potential but a leaky defence. A high-scoring draw.

BET ON: Hull v Everton

Manchester City v Portsmouth:  The Blue Revolution at Eastlands won't take shape fully for some time, and last weekend's defeat to Chelsea showed how far City have to go. Even so, Robinho and co will come good at some point. Both sides won in midweek and City's greater strength in depth may mean they have the edge on Sunday.

BET ON: Manchester City v Portsmouth

Tottenham v Wigan:  Darren Bent's late goal finally gave Spurs a win in Thursday's Uefa Cup action, but they remain the only Premier League side without a win. But they are no Derby County, and a win will come sooner or later - and a home match against a spirited but limited Wigan side is an ideal chance. The Latics have surprised many with their firepower this season and Amir Zaki is a real find. They may score, but Spurs will win.

john carew of villaWest Brom v Aston Villa:  Despite being the best side in the region for several years now, until last season Villa rarely had the edge in derbies with Birmingham - likewise, their neighbours to the west always give them a tough time. VM expects no different this time - West Brom's mixture of bargain-bucket east Europeans and young Englishmen play quality football under Tony Mowbray and could give in-form but tired Villa the runaround. Home win for the Baggies.
