Darlington boss Dave Penney believes Polish goalkeeper Przemyslaw Kazimierczak will prove to be a capable replacement for Fulham-bound David Stockdale.
Kazimierczak and Andy Oakes will battle it out for the number one jersey at the Darlington Arena this season and boss Penney feels the 20-year-old has the same Premier League potential as Stockdale.
"At the moment, Przemyslaw is in a similar position to that which Stocky was in last year," Penney told the club's official website.
"Because of Stocky's form, Przemyslaw played only once last season. But, if he can build on the clean sheet he kept at Peterborough, we will have another very good young keeper on our hands.
"I think he is in the same mould as Stocky. As a club we have to try and develop players."
