Darlington manager Dave Penney remains on the look-out for new faces as speculation linking Tommy Wright with a move north of the border intensifies.

Aberdeen are reported to have lodged a £100,000 bid for 23-year-old Wright, who top-scored for the Quakers last season with 15 goals.

"We are looking to bring more players in and it's possible that others might leave," Penney told the Evening Gazette.

"We may want to bring in another keeper, a central midfielder and possibly cover in wide areas."

Penney has handed rookie striker Sean Reay a new one-year contract but plans to send the 19-year-old out on loan.

"There is a good player in there, but he needs to play regularly against men and work on the physical side of his game. He'll go out on loan so he has the chance to mature physically," added Penney.
