Darlington have bolstered their midfield options with the double signing of David Poole and Adam Griffin from Stockport.
Right-sided midfielder Poole, 23, is a product of the Manchester United academy, but left after they scrapped one of their reserve sides.
He signed for Yeovil before heading to Stockport, initially on loan before signing permanently for £10,000 in 2007.
Griffin, also 23, started his career at Oldham. After loan spells at Chester and Oxford he joined Stockport in 2006, but was released in May this year after their Wembley play-off victory.
Dave Penney will hope the signings will help Darlington's push for promotion to League One after missing out in the play-offs last season.
